Today's verse from Isaiah 43 focuses on the importance of looking to the future, rather than dwelling on the past; and learning to trust in God for its outcome!

Amen to that!

This verse from Psalm 28 gives us reassurance that God is our protector as well as our source of help in all situations.

Today's verse from Romans 8 provides us with welcome reassurance that God is always working on behalf of those who love him.

Amen!

John 8:12 gives us Jesus' testimony that he too is the light from God which lights the way for life, and that all who follow him are also the "light of the world". 

God's promise from Isaiah 54 offers us a visual and reassuring reminder of His power to rebuild, following affliction, with a dazzling array of fine jewels!

 

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 provides us with a wonderful reminder of the Holy Spirit, and the importance and true nature of LOVE.

'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always opes, always perseveres.'

 

Following Pentecost, it is an ideal time to give thanks for the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit, who is with us every day for all time.

It can be hard to keep going in the current circumstances. This verse from #Galatians 6 gives us encouragement to do so.

With so much uncertainty and, in many cases, fear surrounding the continuing impact of Coronavirus, this verse from Joshua 1 offers welcome assurance of the presence of God in every situation.

During this period of lockdown and isolation, it can be uplifting to enjoy the signs of spring and receive the Lord's promise of fruitfulness, given to us in Psalm 1.
