The Connexion Community is diverse: younger and older, at home and abroad, happy and well, or dealing with life's challenges or ill health. What we have in common is a shared sense of belonging and a need to connect with and support each other.
The Connexion Conference is the main event of the year for our church members to come together for worship, prayer, teaching and fun. It is a popular and successful event, and offers an ideal opportunity for making new connections and friendships. Our next annual conference is planned for October 2024 at High Leigh Conference Centre.
The aim of our website is to continue to support and grow our community. Linking you with each other and keeping you in touch with the people who form our network of 21 churches.
During the Covid lockdowns many of our churches sought innovative ways to keep our congregations together online to share our faith and join as a community in worship and prayer. Although, our churches are now able to open their doors for Sunday Services and other activities, a number are still posting audio recordings of sermons, messages and in some cases full services to suit those who prefer to participate online.
What’s New? is regularly updated and enables you to catch up with what’s going on in The Connexion and our churches, featuring online recordings, events, activities, mission news, sermons, history, regular updates from Sierra Leone and the latest editions of The Voice.
Short Thought continues to give us a sound byte of inspiration and entertainment, with a 60-second recording from Simon Allaby, which is renewed each week.
Our Facebook and Twitter pages offer additional opportunities for us to share bible verses, news items, events and activities. Please follow, like and comment on the pages to join in with our growing social media community.
We welcome your participation in helping our members and friends to connect and build a strong and supportive Christian network.
