At the end of July children from many of our Connexion churches in Sierra Leone, came together for the 2026 annual retreat, held at Makoilonga in the Western Area Rural District.

It is becoming a hugely popular event, which this year attracted a record 293 attendees!

As well as delicious food, and an action-packed time of fun and games, the theme of this year's retreat was 'Obedience and Respect' with relevant bible teaching and a special Bible Quiz, which was won by the very proud young lad below.

We were also delighted to learn that Abdul, previously from Bethesda Children's Centre, attended to help to lead the teaching.
