New Pastor for Bolney

Bolney Village Chapel (BVC) is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Pastor, Jonny Fossey. Jonny, his wife Sarah and daughter, Sabella, will be joining BVC on Monday 5 October.

Since the departure of Simon Allaby, who moved to Lee Abbey after 15 years of service to BVC, the church has come together in prayer for God to prompt the right person to take up the Pastor's role. Following the appointment of Jonny, the elders and members of BVC are excitedly looking forward to a new chapter in the Chapel’s life.

Introduction from Jonny

We're excited to start work at Bolney Village Chapel, after a very clear leading from God, a thorough discernment process, and a very warm welcome during the interview phase.

I have been following the Lord since a near-fatal stabbing in my youth and have been a Youth Pastor for many years following university and overseas ministry training. Now, as we make the transition into church leadership, we look forward to practicing what we preach with regards to the 'new life in the Spirit' that Jesus has won for us (Colossians 3:1-3) and making time to see and hear what The Father is doing (John 5:19) individually and cooperatively.

As such, we can't wait to journey with our new BVC family into all that God has for us and our wider village community, in which 'everybody gets to play' (to quote John Wimber) for His Glory, as vital parts of His Body locally (1 Cor 12:12-27).

We look forward to meeting many of you soon.
